Study on the Safe Operation of Standby Power Supply Technology for 1000m Deep Shaft

Abstract  The capacity to cope with sudden power failure is very poor because China's basic condition of coal mine power supply is poor, and the reliability is low. It is necessary for the kilometer deep coal mine to have a set of emergency power supply. Tangkou Coal Company built a set of 3000kW diesel generating sets as emergency power supply. When the blackout occurred, it can provide the power supply for auxiliary shaft hoisting and transportation and other important places. The project is currently in the normal operation at Tangkou Coal Company. It is very important for ensuring the safety in production, guaranting the safety of 1000m deep underground frontline operational staff's life.
