Design of Automatic Control System of Air-water Backwashing V-filters

Abstract  Appropriate online measuring instruments are provided in air-water backwashing V-filters to ensure a constant water level of the filtering process by adjusting the opening of clean water valves using advanced PLC automatic control system. When airwater backwashing process is performed, appropriate washing methods and intensities are employed to wash away the deposition while maintaining certain amount of biofilms on the surface of the filter medium to ensure later filtration effect
