Abstract This paper studies on the teaching reform concerning the course Database Building and Management. Based on“docking
in five aspects”, the teaching effect of“four-step advance mode”is explored, for the purpose of progressively improving students’
occupational ability through training of job-related skills, and eventually enhancing their theoretical and practical ability to analyze
and solve problems.
