Abstract Faced with the situation that college students cannot go back to school and do experiments in the laboratory during the
COVID-19 period in spring of 2020, this paper proposes a scheme of conducting computer network experiment based on remote
desktop. On the basis of the original laboratory facilities, by adding a small amount of hardware, students can complete all experi-
ments at home with the help of TeamViewer remote desktop software. In addition, it also provides some personalized experimental
environment for students with strong ability. It has proved that this scheme can solve the problem of no experiment during the epi-
demic period and ensure the teaching effect.
